Search Engine Optimization

How do I get on Page 1 of Google?

The simple answer:

  1. Hire a company that has a good technical reputation with search engine optimization (SEO). Get them to remove any technical errors or warnings that come up.
  2. Next, hire an expert who knows how to create excellent content marketing. Why? Because the search engines will rate you on how fast people leave your website and how long they stay.
  3. Hire a digital advertising specialist because if there is little or no traffic going to your page, the search engines will think that it's not relevant to anyone. It's a hidden gem.

Make sure all 3 (the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker) are working in harmony.

Yet, the simple answer is not always the best one.

Often, when working with 'SEO experts,' all they think about is SEO and not the big picture.

The big picture is the goal of your digital marketing.

It could be:

  • Get a client
  • Make a sale
  • Add someone to your email list
  • Something else…

Everything needs to revolve around this goal.

The best way to do that is by having a technically sound and FAST website…

and then using your content to think about the customer journey:

  • Educate
  • Have calls to action
  • Create a strategic sales funnel

If you're doing the right thing for the client experience and you educate with valuable content, you WILL see results.

There is no point in gaming the system. If you want long-term results, the best solution is to always keep the client's experience in the front of your mind.

Instead of thinking of SEO as a stand-alone solution to a problem, think about it a little differently.

Think of it this way…

What would you do differently if you positioned yourself as the Wikipedia of your industry?

If you were the go-to resource, what would your job description look like?

Perhaps something like this:

WANTED: Someone to make this business more money… $$$.

We're looking for a group of passionate data geeks who have run a ton of experiments so that they understand what it takes to get results.

It should be a team that will create a great customer experience on our website, social media…basically, all over the web.

  • Passionate about SEO
  • In love with content marketing
  • Expert at landing-page strategy
  • Thirsting for knowledge
  • Always experimenting to get better results

Apply Now.

That's what it takes to get results; it's not a one-time thing.

It's an ever-changing, multi-dimensional process.

How do we know that? It's because Spartan Spark has an algorithm that follows changes in the search engines. Our algorithm, developed by tech guru Bernie et al., gets updated on a weekly basis to keep itself current.

Then, we combine that with countless experiments, Dafne's love for neuromarketing, and her immersion in guerilla-style marketing for the last 20 years.

Let's just say… we know a little about the topic.
